Between reality and abstraction. Landscape in art: from Bellini to Fontana

The trail begins at Pinacoteca Carrara, accompanying participants to discover the evolution of the landscape: from the decorative background for religious or mythological scenes, to the independent protagonist of the painting, romantically presented or as a documented character.
The narrative continues a the GAMeC. The collection here tells of how the avantgarde and post-avantgarde artists interpret the landscape, developing its metaphysical, futuristic and surreal potential, with informal results, techniques and styles aimed at psycho-emotional or irrational re-elaboration of the known reality.
There are a total of 19 selected works between the Carrara and GAMeC.

The route, which will be clearly indicated by means of adhesive information cards, can be followed independently within the Accademia Carrara and the GAMeC.
